joins the Louisiana Philharmonic on English horn for the 2007-08 season, taking a leave of absence from the position of Second Oboe in the Princeton Symphony, and that of English horn in the Binghamton Philharmonic. She has performed with Boston Modern Orchestra Project, Opera Boston, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. From 2000 through 2002, she was a member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago.

Ms. Rouse studied with Alfred Genovese at the New England Conservatory, and with Joseph Robinson at the Manhattan School of Music, where she also served four years as oboe teaching assistant. She is currently on the faculty of Southeastern Louisiana University.
